SSC CHSL is an abbreviation for Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam. SSC CHSL Selection Procedure
SSC CHSL 2024 exam has three stages of recruitment. The candidates must qualify in all three. The SSC CHSL 2024 exam will take place in 2 stages called Tiers. These three stages are as follows-
- SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam (Computer-Based test)
- SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam (Pen and Paper test)
- Typing Test (Skill Test)
SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam (Objective paper)
SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam is the first stage in the SSC CHSl recruitment process. There are 100 multiple-choice questions with 200 marks with negative markings.
SSC CHSL Tier 2 Exam (Descriptive paper)
After qualifying for the SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam, candidates will appear in the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam. The tier 2 exam is a pen-and-paper test with two sessions.
Typing Test (Skill Test)
After qualifying for the SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam, candidates are eligible for the last stage of the recruitment process. In the typing test, the candidate will write 35 minutes per word in English and 30 words/per minute in Hindi. The typing test takes place with the SSC CHSL Tier-2 exam.

SSC CHSL 2024 Exam Pattern

- SSC CHSL Tier I exam is in online mode.
- There are four sections in the SSC CHSL TIER 1 exam. The four sections are as follows-

- The time to solve the exam is 60 minutes.
- Candidates will lose 0.50 marks for every wrong answer.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 exam
- The SSC CHSL 2024 Tier -2 exam will be in offline (pen & paper-based) mode with a typing test.
- There are two sessions. In session 1, there are three sections with two modules- Mathematical abilities, Reasoning, and General Intelligence. There are two modules in section 2 of session 1. They are English Language and Comprehension, Reasoning, and General Intelligence. General Awareness. In the last (third) section of session 1, there is only one module- Computer Knowledge.
- Session two of the SSC CHSK tier 2 exam is a typing test. This typing test is further divided into two parts. Part A is for the post of DEOs, and part B is for LDC/ JSA.
- For Deo, the candidate gets a sheet with 2000-2200 strokes, and they have to enter it on a computer at a speed of 8,000 key depressions per hour.
- For LDC/ JSA, the candidate has to write 35 minutes per word in English and 30 words/per minute in Hindi.
