Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) exam takes place to recruit Assistant Commandant (Group A) Officers in seven Police Organizations in India. The exam will take place on 06th August, and registration will begin on 20th April 2023.
Just like every other exam CAPF exam also has some eligibility criteria that need to be fulfilled by the candidates to give the exam. The Union Public Service Commission stated the CAPF 2023 eligibility criteria and mentioned it in the official notification.

All the aspirants should know about the CAPF Eligibility 2023 criteria before filling out the application form. All the candidates must fulfill all the

stated CAPF Eligibility 2023 to proceed to the other stages of the recruitment process without any problem. If the candidate is found to be ineligible at any stage of the exam, the admission form will get rejected.

CAPF Eligibility Criteria 2023- Age Limit

Candidates must know about the CAPF age limit criteria to avoid further problems. The one who does not meet this criterion will not be allowed to appear for the exam. CAPF Eligibility 2023- Education Qualification

Another important eligibility criterion is the educational qualification. The candidate must fulfill the educational qualification to take the exam. Check out the CAPF Educational Qualification given below-

Candidates appearing for the CAPF 2023 exam must have a bachelor’s degree in any stream.
Candidate must know that the bachelor’s degree must be from government recognized university or any institute formed as per an Act of Legislature (both State and Central).

A degree from a university formed under any Parliamentary Act or Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, is also acceptable.

Other than this, the candidate can have any technical or professional degree from any recognized institution.

CAPF Eligibility 2023- Nationality

According to CAPF eligibility 2023 criteria, candidates from a particular nation can only appear for the exam. If you do not fall into this criterion, you will need written consent from the Central Government to be eligible to apply for the CAPF Exam. Check out the details below-

Candidates from India, Nepal, and Bhutan are eligible to take the CAPF exam. The ones belonging to other nations are ineligible to appear for the exam unless granted written consent from the Central Government.

CAPF Eligibility 2023- Height

Candidates must be physically fit and fulfill the CAPF Eligibility for height to be eligible for the examination. CAPF has stated the minimum height required for male and female candidates.

The minimum Height Requirement for Males – is 165 cm.

The minimum CAPF Height Requirement for Females – is 157 cm.

Note: If a candidate fails to meet the required CAPF height, he/she will not proceed further.

CAPF Physical Eligibility

Physical eligibility is also a part of CAPF eligibility 2023. All the candidates will go through the physical standard maintained by the officials.

CAPF Medical Standards

The CAPF eligibility criteria 2023 also demands medical fitness and has stated specific medical standards. Here are the medical standards that a candidate must fulfill-

Any candidates with consistent ear discharge, deafness, or any history of diseases such as Tinnitus, Vertigo, and Earache should not apply.

Any candidates with conditions or diseases associated with the nose, teeth, skin, and neck should not apply.
Anyone with Venereal disease is eligible to apply for the exam.

Anyone with chronic diseases such as Blood Pressure, TB, Arthritis, Bronchial Asthma, Diabetes, and Heart conditions should not apply.

Anyone with Hemorrhoids, Hernia, Varicose Veins, Condylomas, Disease of The Genital Urinary Tract, Knock Knees, Prolapse Rectum Congenital Malformation Malunited Fracture of Bones, Flat Chest, Flat foot, Rickety Rosary Defect, Pigeon Test and Stammering should Not Apply.

CAPF Eligibility 2023- Marital Status

The CAPF eligibility 2023 criteria do not hold account of

any marital status to fulfill for aspiring candidates. The notification released by the UPSC does not have information related to the marital status of the candidates. If candidates meet all the other CAPF eligibility 2023 criteria, they are eligible for the examination. Therefore, married or unmarried candidates can apply for the CAPF 2023 exam if they fulfill the eligibility criteria.
