Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) is an eligibility exam to teach in primary (Classes 1 to 5) and upper primary (Classes 6-8) schools in Uttar Pradesh. The exam takes place once a year and has two parts. Both exams are of equal marks, 150 each with +1 for each correct answer, but no negative marking for non-MCQ questions.

UPTET Syllabus 2023
Candidates preparing for the UPTET exam should know the syllabus of both papers. Without knowing the proper syllabus, it is not possible to ace good marks.

UPTET Paper 1 Syllabus
Paper -1 covers topics from NCERT books for classes 1 to 5. It consists of chapters from five subjects, mandatory for the candidates preparing for UPTET paper -1.
