SUPER TET Eligibility Criteria 2024- Education
Candidates appearing for super TET 2023 must check out the educational qualification given below-
The essential requirement for any Candidate appearing for the Super TET exam is that they must be graduated and have qualified UPTET/CTET exam.
Other conditions are –
- Candidate having Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
- Candidate having Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
OR
- Candidate having Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks (Mandatory) Graduation
OR
- Candidate having Graduation and B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education).
- UPTET Paper-1/ CTET Paper-1 Exam.
The super TET exam takes two categories – primary and upper primary classes. Both exams have different eligibility criteria and therefore candidates must look out for them.
One can appear for both exams if fulfilling the eligibility criteria.
Super TET Eligibility Criteria 2024 – Primary Teachers( 1 to 5)
Here is the educational qualification for the ones willing to appear for primary teachers ( 1 to 5). Check them out-
- Candidate must have passed class 12th with 50% and two years diploma in Elementary Education.

- Candidate must have passed class 12th with 50% and have a four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed) Degree.
OR
- Candidate must have passed class 12th with 50% and have passed in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Education (Special Education)
OR
- Candidate must have a Graduation Degree and pass a 2]two years Diploma in Elementary Education.
OR
- Candidate must have Graduation Degree and Bachelor’s in Education (B.Ed) Degree.
Super TET Eligibility Criteria 2024 -Upper Primary classes (6th to 10th)
- Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree and BTC from National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
OR
- Candidate must have completed graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education from the Rehabilitation Council Of India (RCI).
OR
- The candidate has completed 12th with 50% and four years have a four-year degree in B.A/ B.Sc.Ed/ B.A.Ed from N.C.T.E and UGC.
OR
- The candidate has completed 12th with 50% marks and has a four-year degree in B.El.Ed in Primary Education.
OR
- The candidate has a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks and a B.ED degree.
NOTE- Anyone appearing for Super TET 2023 exam must have a valid certificate of UPTET or CTET.
Super TET Eligibility Criteria 2024- Age Limit
Another important parameter to take into consideration is Age Limit. Candidate appearing for the Super TET exam has to fulfill every criterion, including the age limit. The minimum age to apply for Super TET is 21, and the maximum is 40.
- Minimum Age- 21 years old
- Maximum Age- 40 years old
Super TET Eligibility Criteria 2024: Age Relaxation
Super TET offers some age relaxation to the reserved category but only to the candidates of Uttar Pradesh(possessing domicile of State UP).
- SC/ST/OBC – Relaxation up to 5 years
- PwD/Differently-abled Candidates-Relaxation up to 15 years (Age should not be more than 55 years on the appointment date)
Note – Candidates appearing for Super TET 2023 must possess the following documents
- Mark sheet,
- Degree,
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Domicile, etc.
If a candidate fails to produce any of the required documents, the authority may disqualify the candidate from the recruitment process.
